We continued west from Stanfield Oregon to North Plains Oregon, a suburb of Portland Oregon. This stretch of I-84 runs parallel along the Columbia River. We will be staying in the Portland area until Sunday morning. Our travel days will now be shorter and our stays longer.
Today started out cloudy and just before Portland it started to rain. The mid-afternoon temperature was 59 F. For now at least we have found the cooler weather that we are seeking.
